Prasthan Yatnam under the able guidance of Raina Bhattacharjee (my childhood friend) are motivating individuals to grow and excel, by cultivating an environment of support, encouragement, and understanding. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, Prasthan Yatnam is enabling their members to flourish and unleash their full potential. Raina genuinely strives to care for and support PY members on their own unique paths, thus contributing to the growth and personal development of each individual. Raina articulates her ideas in a compelling manner, engaging and inspiring her members to actively join her cause, thereby creating a lasting impact in shaping a better world. By actively listening and valuing the input of the members, Raina creates an environment that encourages collaboration and fosters a sense of inclusivity, respect, and open communication within the organization.
Raina's leadership is all about empathy, compassion, and striving to uplift the individuals who may be exhausted while going through the grind of daily life. I wish Raina and Prasthan Yatnam great success as they continue to empower and inspire others to follow their lead.

Raina,
A honey bee sucks elixir from any possible source available and builds honeycomb. The honeycomb is squeezed out till last drop by the society to use for it's panacea quality.
At Prasthan yatnam, Guwahati in my maiden session the experience was similar. Under tutelage of my dear friend Raina the team was trying their best to suck elixir from various sources known to them.
Their mission and objective is crystal clear that they wish to serve honey to everyone.
I wish their spiritual endeavor great success.

Ba, you are rendering a indescribable service to the society.
What your guests spoke after the session was very impressive, it floored me completely. Each one of them who mostly are kids, spoke so well which they couldn't had they not understood what was being said.
They couldn't have said what they did if it had not got ingrained in them, their's were not mere words. It's great character building, very impressive and so also your connect with them.
Am short of words to thank you. 🙏
Pray 🙏to the Almighty to shower his Blessings on you and you work always.

For the last couple of years, we have seen 'Prasthan Yatnam' doing a great work in its effort to bring in children and even grown-ups to a positive and spiritual space and imbibe hope and confidence in them which for some reason or other became cloudy.
I am sure that under the stewardship of Smt. Raina Bhattacharjee, PY shall see new horizons and will be embraced by more souls longing for Light.

It’s no surprise that today we can see 'Prasthan Yatnam' coming with flying colours. A psycho-spiritual organisation under whose roof lot many young and old alike find solace, has been growing from strength to strength over a period of years. I wish and pray that Almighty pours on Divine Blessings and Strength to Raina Bhattacharjee all the more to carry on the wonderful work she has been doing.

I just attended one offline session and a couple of online ones. The online sessions were a little different than anything I had attended but the offline session was where I met Raina after eons....the calmness, silence and the Koel cooing outside gave me an awesome experience. I hope in the coming sessions I get more understanding and knowledge of PY

I joined Prasthan Yatnam back in 2021 and I have changed a lot since then. The discourses have helped me a lot and now I can face any situation without much difficulty. Many thanks to all the members of PY, because they too taught me a lot of things that maybe they are unaware of but I have learnt something from everyone here. Most importantly "Meditation" alone has left a very good impact in my life. I am very grateful and graced to be a part of this family. I would be happy to see PY in future helping many other people. My best wishes and support.

I joined Prasthan Yatnam in the year 2022. It has been a huge part of my life since then, and has helped me transform into a better person in this course of time. Prasthan Yatnam has given me a new definition and perspective of life and its consequent terms. It undertook me on a journey of self-realisation. Under the guidance of Raina Jethai, I entered a new way of life. I got introduced to the journey of spirituality. Her Thursday Discourses cover each and every sphere of life, starting from knowledge for a 16-year-old to even a 60-year-old. She makes sure that each and every Prasthani could understand her discourses and add a new dimension in their life every time they attend a session. I am eternally grateful to be a part of this journey, and hope to continue in future years as well!

I joined Prasthan Yatnam in 2018 when I was in school after meeting Raina aunty. By joining Prasthan Yatnam I learnt many things from Raina aunty and all the members. I have learnt spirituality in Prasthan Yatnam from the discourses by Raina aunty. The most important thing I learnt from Prasthan Yatnam is to meditate. The most memorable part of Prasthan Yatnam for me is when we went to Kurseong with Raina aunty and we got the opportunity to meditate in the church and the monastery. Thank you, Raina aunty, for teaching us many things and supporting us.

I had always looked up to something or someone who can guide me towards something substantial. I had a burning desire that needed to be quenched. After a lot of hardships, the universe conspired for me to finally meet my Guru and thereby inducting me into Prasthan Yatnam (PY). Chief (Raina Ba) as I like to call her, became my Guru (Spiritual guide) in this world of 'Maya'. PY gave me an opportunity to delve into the powerful thoughts that were conceived by the great saints in their 'white light of meditation'. Powerful Thursday discourses on various sects/topics/masters have helped me introspect, and enhanced my perception of scientific things, and evolved me as a better musician. PY is one of the best things that has ever happened in my life, and I wholeheartedly participate in its functioning. PY is an epicentre of true wisdom and knowledge from this part of the world, pregnant with dynamite messages to tackle life's challenges amidst continuing one’s own sadhana (spiritual journey).
At the end I would like to say that for me PY is no less than a shrine of knowledge and a temple of a kind.
Akash Das
Joint Secretary (Technology and Operations, Prasthan Yatnam)

I joined Prasthan Yatnam about a year ago, in 2023, at the suggestion of Raina Bhattacharjee, whom I lovingly call “Enai”. I got to interact with many new faces- which I found daunting at first as I am not a social person.
However, it was quite the opposite for me. I was involved in how we conduct our sessions, the work that goes on behind the scenes, and the topics chosen piqued my interest a lot.
Be it about Sai Baba, Hinduism, and so on, the topics we have had discourses on have been a great insight and a welcome relief from the monotony of life, as it forced me to think, and most importantly introspect.
As Prasthan takes this next leap forward, I wish it all the very best and I shall be there to support PY whenever and however I can.

For the first time, when I heard the name Prasthan Yatnam from our Marg Darshak, my deeply sceptical mind kept questioning why, 'Prasthan Yatnam'? Because from what I knew back then (according to google) it meant to die and go to the other realm. I thought back then, that I will have to leave my worldly affairs to be a part of Prasthan. Little did I know that my understanding was not correct. From then, my journey of learning about spirituality while being a functioning part of this world began.

It’s been 2 years of me being part of PY. The more I dive deep into Ma'am's teachings, the more I get enlightened and surprised by what she and the universe has to offer. It’s like an adventure being in Prasthan. We might wander around sometimes with doubt but with truth and honesty we can definitely come back to the family.
Oh! let me tell you what I understand by the name Prasthan Yatnam now...
"It is our journey back within ourselves, our home".

"It's about finding the calm in the chaos" - as they say, but I was failing to sit still then. That’s when I met Raina Mam, our Marg Darshak, our guru, (Raina Bhattacharjee), who was the light for me at the end of the tunnel...Her voice was enough for me to step into the truth... She took me out from the world of imaginary impermanence, and introduced me to this journey towards our higher-selves, where we speak the language of our inner souls leaving behind those dark demons…I joined PY a year ago and during this journey I have learnt to unlearn the worldly lessons of life and have learnt to embrace stillness and silence... It's a long journey together with the family members, yet towards solitude and enlightenment. As we're learning from the teachings of Raina Mam, we're evolving with each passing day, learning to add new vedantic flavours to our life stories and to control our wandering minds... Still, we miss our directions at times but at the end of the day we return to our home, our family, Prasthan Yatnam.... As Raina Mam says there's no better adventure than diving into our inner selves towards the truth, I hope to learn and dive more in the coming days, to take the best and leave the rest to God... PY is a place where we all have learnt to fall in love with God...With this I end my words, but with a heart full of gratitude and love towards my guru Raina Mam and towards my family members...
Long live Prasthan Yatnam..
Peace love and Healing, सर्वेभवन्तुसुखिनः

I got introduced to Prasthan Yatnam at an important period of both my life and profession. Initially, I attended the Thursday discourses as a guest, but after more than a year now, I have been an active member and an Ashirvadi, supporting the organization’s technical operations at the back end. The Thursday discourses have been a life saver, providing me with a way of life, in addition to imparting the wisdom of many spiritual giants. PY connects us to our roots, teaches unity and gives a wider perspective on life, enabling oneself into a journey of self-realization and self-awareness.
Our organization’s success is a result of the combined efforts of all its members, guided by Raina Bhattacharjee, our Marg Darshak, who has given me a meaningful outlook on life.

I know Raina Aunty from when I was an infant, and remember seeing her from time immemorial. We go way back. She has come a long way, being involved in diverse professions (all related to social service in one way or another) and has changed the lives of all the people she has come across and worked it, with her Midas touch. We all have changed along the way. And it is with her long-accumulated experience of working in different fields of counselling, that she now gives us her distilled wisdom of several decades. I formally joined PY in 2018, and ever since, the learning has been indispensable to me to go through the trials and tribulations of life. Raina Aunty, and fond memories of Aroop Uncle, will always be with me.

Life has been a roller coaster ride for me, with its many twists and turns. I was always spiritually inclined. It was by sheer providence, that I met Raina. I was unknowingly in search for a Marg Darshak and I found one in her. I have started my journey with PY from 2017. We used to meet on Thursdays at our headquarter. It has such a beautiful ambience. We all used to sit on our mattresses with gentle Jack sitting quietly by our side, gently lifting his pera (sweet) given to him after the session. I remember Aroop Da, attending our sessions, sitting at the last row.
After joining PY, I have come to know the difference between Religiosity and Spiritualism. I have learnt to handle my emotions, a great deal. All the sessions of PY have taught me to always keep my ears and eyes open and to be alert at all times, to be aware of every subtle change around me for every small message from God, as God never appears in person. He sends his messages in a very subtle manner. It is for us to understand through our intuitions. It has taught me to be humble, to see and feel the Divine in everything that surrounds me, to have empathy for one and all, to respect and imbibe the good from all religions, never to forget our roots and to understand the true meaning of our Sanatan Dharma.
Under Raina's guidance I am aware of the greatest enemy of mankind, which is very much present in each one of us. Our EGO. Since then, I am in constant war with my ego. Sometimes I overpower it, but many a time it raises its ugly head like Raktbeej. I admire Raina's power of eloquence. She has divine grace. Till date she has touched upon many topics. She explains every difficult topic in such a beautiful manner that even a small child can understand and benefit from it. I have seen her videos outside PY. She can communicate with every section of our society so well, everybody gets engrossed in what she speaks. I am always at a loss of words.
PY has taken long strides since 2017, especially after Covid by going online. Now it is opening its own web portal. I wish PY grand success and thank every member for putting all their efforts. Long live PY.

Prasthan Yatnam has been instrumental in my spiritual journey, providing a sanctuary for meditation sessions and enlightening spiritual discourses. Under the guidance of Raina Ba, I've experienced profound growth and transformation. Raina Ba's wisdom and compassion have gently guided me through moments of doubt and uncertainty, leading me towards a deeper understanding of myself and the universe. The supportive community and nurturing environment created by Prasthan Yatnam have been invaluable on my path to spiritual awakening. With heartfelt gratitude, I extend special thanks to Raina Ba, for her unwavering dedication and profound impact on my journey towards spiritual fulfilment.

My journey with Prasthan Yatnam has been the most enriching experience of my life. It is here that I got the opportunity to learn more about my roots and my existence through the discourses imparted by our Marg Darshak. I have learnt to be conscious of my actions and surroundings and to be sensitive to the thoughts, feelings and opinions of others thus helping me to strengthen my relationships with others. Meditation has taught me to be more peaceful and grounded with a strong sense of responsibility thus helping me to lead a meaningful life devoid of all negativities, attachments and expectations. I look forward to gaining more knowledge through this unique journey that I have embarked on so that I may be able to contribute towards making this world a better place. I express my deepest gratitude to Raina Ba our Marg Darshak for her unconditional love, guidance and support to each and every member of Prasthan Yatnam to move forward in the spiritual journey. Peace, love and healing. Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaha.

It may sound strange in the 21st century, and perhaps contrary to who and what I am, that I always silently romanticised the Indian Joint Family!!!....
In Prasthan Yatnam (PY) that great Indian Joint Family has materialised at a different level !!!...I would say it is a joint family with a difference...
It is also the platform which has provided a solid ground for me to pursue my spiritual journey with the very best of ingredients under one roof.
PY is truly my dream come true, for which I am deeply grateful to all its wonderful members...PY is very very close to my heart especially because it is a healthy mix of ALL shades of life and people…It is an integral part of my existence and I am incomplete without it...
